I once bought a … I once bought a Ford Explorer that was former fleet vehicle (car belonged to Hertz rental) with about 50k miles. Suffice it to say that car was rubbish. Gave me a lot of headache and several trips to the mechanic. Explorers are reliable cars (I currently drive a 04 Explorer which I bought new and has 80K miles), but the problem is that rental cars get abused/negligently used. This video clearly illustrates that. The worst thing is that Jeep will eventually end up in the used car market.
I’ve accidentally … I’ve accidentally done that, (offroad on a hill climb all of a sudden the hill ended… and i was looking to the side of the hill to see how high we were… and weee… air time.. ) and i got the slightest bend in the front axle… (and drove it on a 1000 mile trip back to North Carolina. best part…
They never made a … They never made a SRT WJ jeep. But true on all the WJs tho. Not all came with the big V8. Some came with the inline 6 which is a great motor. Not very powerful but has a lot of torque
Theres no frame on … Theres no frame on them. They are a uni-body and the way it looked, nothing bent, But it was making a nasty noise at the end. May have been the camera tho…
Me and my brother … Me and my brother jumped a dodge intrepid and it didn’t turn out so good. We were doin’ about 80 mph on a two lane road and got about 3 feet of air and the car came down pretty hard. Never do this if you have bad shocks and crappy rims. The car luckily didn’t land front end first. That would have been catastrophic. It was fun though.
I hope someday … I hope someday somebody borrows your car and does this to it. Maybe then you’ll learn some respect for other people’s property. No vehicle is built for jumping.
