Where can I find cheap car hire in the US?
I am planning a road trip through America later this year and looking for cheap car hire. I have heard that some companies look for people in my situation to help them with transporting vehicles cross country – does anyone know anything about this?
One time about ten years ago I talked to someone at
Hertz Car Rental, and I transported a car from Florida
up to Chicago. I had to talk to corporate managers. I
don’t know it they do that any more. I had to pay for the
fuel.
There is a company in Chicago called Auto Driveaway
and they let you transport cars. You have to go register
and their office and see what cars need to be transported.

PS – I think Auto Driveaway may be a national company
so it’s not just in Chicago – look up on internet.
