Anyone know of any good, cheap car hire companies in France?

I am going to the Languedoc area for about 10 days & need to hire a car for the duration of my stay, with pick-up & drop-off both from Toulouse airport.

Have found a few possible sites/companies, but nothing definite – any suggestions?

There are a number of car hire companies operating out of Toulouse Airport and we have provided contact details for them as follows:

Ada Toulouse Airport – Avis Toulouse Airport – Budget Toulouse Airport – Europcar Toulouse Airport – Hertz Toulouse Airport – National Toulouse Airport – Sixt Toulouse Airport – Walter Spanghero Toulouse Airport

I would avoid avis though= bad experience in perpignan airport

   Have you tried Argus Car Hire http://www.arguscarhire.com/ ? It’s a price comparison/broker site. They search hundreds of suppliers so you can compare the cheapest deals. Their latest special offers can be seen on http://blog.arguscarhire.com/

   I have tried http://www.ada.fr with good results. Also Sixt, but I do not know whether they are at Toulouse Airport.
