What’s the cheapest car hire from Geneva Airport?

Posted on December 31st, 2009 by admin in car hire australia | 1 Comment »

I am going to Geneva Airport next week and need to drive to Les Gets. What’s the cheapest car hire for four days from that airport?

I found the cheapest rates with Europcar, by booking through auto-europe.co.uk. But it’s worth looking around because the prices seem to change day to day.

Im flying to Cyprus Larnica airport and want to know about car hire?

Is it best to book online or will the hire place be open when we get there.
I think we land around 10 in the evening.

I live here and my Dad always books with travel company as is crazy and likes to waste money but my friend has a car-hire company he is very reasonable friendly and speaks good english oh yes and his cars are safe insured etc. His name is Christakis and to call from Uk is 00357 99415570. Enjoy your holiday he is near Ayia Napa.

When booking car rentals, what are the best ways to get the cheapest car rental rates.?

Posted on December 31st, 2009 by admin in car rental australia | 2 Comments »

I’ve been trying to get an inexpensive car rental rate for Tampa Florida for June for a mid size car for two weeks. The lowest price I could come up with is $587. Is there any way to do better.

You also try checking car rental prices through a booking site, like Travelocity, Expedia, Orbitz, etc. This way you can compare several car rental companies at once. Once you find the cheapest company, you can also try going to their website directly, to see if they have any deals or specials that would lower the price. When searching for internet car rental specials, you can also try to check car rental rates using a discount code, if you qualify. There are hundreds of membership programs and professional associations that offer car rental discount codes to their members. You can find a list of car rental discount codes for 8 major car rental companies, at http://www.best-car-rental-tips.com/discount-codes.html

Anyone know of any good, cheap car hire companies in France?

Posted on December 30th, 2009 by admin in car hire australia | 4 Comments »

I am going to the Languedoc area for about 10 days & need to hire a car for the duration of my stay, with pick-up & drop-off both from Toulouse airport.

Have found a few possible sites/companies, but nothing definite – any suggestions?

There are a number of car hire companies operating out of Toulouse Airport and we have provided contact details for them as follows:

Ada Toulouse Airport – Avis Toulouse Airport – Budget Toulouse Airport – Europcar Toulouse Airport – Hertz Toulouse Airport – National Toulouse Airport – Sixt Toulouse Airport – Walter Spanghero Toulouse Airport

I would avoid avis though= bad experience in perpignan airport

Can anyone recommend cheap car hire for Majorca?

Posted on December 30th, 2009 by admin in car hire australia | 4 Comments »

We are off to Palma Airport, Majorca in July & need a large people carrier – 7 of us plus luggage so probably a 9 seater! Has anyone got any recommendations for a good and reasonable car hire firm please?

Goldcar are good but they make you pay upfront for a tank of petrol with no credit if you don’t use it all. They also have real fully inclusive rates with no excess (which is why they try to claw a bit of profit back with the petrol thing) Good if you are planning on doing a lot of miles.

Otherwise have a look at Argus rentals – they use car trawler and usually have competitve rates for the major rental firms like Hertz. By doing this you don’t have to pay upfront for the petrol but you do have an insurance excess of about 700 euros.

You can buy an excess waiver policy separately from carhireexcess.com who are competitive

Car Hire Orlando via Virgin? Can my husband drive if I booked the holiday?

Posted on December 30th, 2009 by admin in car hire australia | 7 Comments »

Booked my disney holiday through Virgin which includes car hire. Will my husband be able to drive the car or will I have to as I booked it?

This will not be a problem if you add him to the named drivers when you collect the car. You will both need your driving licence (both parts) and your passports for identification plus all the documents you have been sent to take along. I have looked into this several times as I am trying to brave driving there myself as it can sometimes be taxing managing with public transport. have driven abroad before as well so not sure why I worry re Orlando.

have a great holiday.

How can I save money on car rental insurance?

Posted on December 30th, 2009 by admin in car rental australia | 4 Comments »

I am going to rent a car for 3 to 4 months. I don’t have my own car.
Buying insurance from Rental Company is very costly. How can I save money?

Enterprise has long term car rentals, and they’re the cheapest in my area anyways.

What is the best car rental company to deal with when travelling into New York?

Posted on December 30th, 2009 by admin in car rental australia | 7 Comments »

What is the best car rental company to deal with when travelling into New York?

I would try and avoid Hertz, as they almost always have the highest rates in NYC.

Dollar and Budget are always the lowest prices here.

Keep in mind that rentals can be significantly lower if you do your pick up/drop off at the area airports instead of in Manhanttan.
